Dark chocolate brownie with caramel icing

I love chocolate! I made this brownie with fair trade Dagoba organic cocoa powder and organic pecans and then covered it with homemade caramel icing. I happened to have some leftover icing from a cake that I made for my father-in-law and I decided that putting it on top of brownies would be a fabulous idea! I was right…these brownies were so good, too good, because the only way to stop eating them was to eat them all! Gotta go for a walk to burn off the calories now! This is why I only bake like this once a month…keeps the weight gain in check! Remember, moderation is the key to enjoying fantastic desserts!
